These plot important episodes are so good!!!! I'm so close to the climax of the Vermouth arc and I'm so excited!!

the security camera would have picked up on the lady in the Boxster doing all this crap. seriously, it would have. maybe, just MAYBE it would have missed the fishing line. but it would have showed her: messing with the toy car, turning her key in the ignition to set it to Accessory (power windows do NOT need the engine Conan, just the car's battery), raising and lowering the window, and wrapping something invisible around the guy's neck. also, the fishing line would have left a CUT IN THE 911's HEAD REST UPHOULSTERY leaving blood in that cut when the lady wound the line up around the toy car's axle. if you closed the 911's door ON THE FISHING LINE it would have IMMEDIATELY caught the line and put tension on the guy's neck... that tiny toy car's battery and motor would NOT have pulled the line back inside her Boxster's cabin. the dead guy wasn't dead drunk and entirely unconscious. he was mumbling in his sleep before the other 3 left. even drunk he would have felt the fishing line tighten around his neck and struggled. probably leaving cuts on his hands from the line, thrashing in the car obviously struggling for the security camera to record, and probably breaking the fishing line.

the anime screenwriters or the mangaka screwed this murder up horridly. it stinks.

as to the doctor not being 'in'. maybe this was when Vermouth left the Araide ID behind. that would mean the 'doc' wasn't in till he showed up at his own home later on... sans Vermouth.
